# Who We Are and Who We Serve

> The practice, the people, and the clients we work with.

## The practice

The Healing Haven is the public name of HELEN DELOVELY LCSW PLLC, a Utah professional limited liability company doing business as: (dba) The Healing Haven SLC. Utah law lets a PLLC provide clinical services only through licensed people and limits ownership to licensed professionals (Utah Code § 48-3a-1105 and -1109, renumbered to Title 16, Chapter 20 on October 1, 2026). Helen De Lovely, LCSW, is the owner and, as of this writing, the practice's only clinician. Unlicensed staff support the practice; they never provide or hold themselves out as providing therapy. The practice is hybrid: we see clients in our Salt Lake City office and by telehealth.

We are private-pay and out-of-network with most insurance, with payer relationships in development. Ask the practice manager for the current status of any payer rather than assuming. Never tell a client we accept a plan unless the practice manager or Helen has confirmed it in writing.

## Who we serve

We work primarily with adults seeking individual therapy. Many of our clients come to us for trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodivergent-affirming practice, for our clients and for the people who work here.

We don't make outcome claims in our marketing, and you shouldn't either, in any setting. Describe what we do and how we work. Don't promise results.

## How we describe ourselves

Use the right name for the context.

* **The Healing Haven** on anything public: the website, social media, client-facing email, the office door.
* **Helen DeLovely LCSW PLLC** on anything legal, financial, or payer-facing: contracts, claims, tax forms, insurance.
* **Helen De-Lovely, LCSW** when referring to Helen herself.

If you're not sure which one belongs on something, ask the practice manager. Getting an entity name wrong on a payer form or a contract creates real cleanup.
