# Performance Reviews

> 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins, then annual reviews. What they cover and what they're for.

Reviews here are conversations, not report cards. Their purpose is that nothing about your standing is a surprise, in either direction.

## First 90 days

* **Day 30:** How's it going. Systems, workflow, caseload ramp, what's confusing, what's missing. Mostly about what the practice can do better for you.
* **Day 60:** Progress against the ramp plan. Documentation quality. Early feedback both ways.
* **Day 90:** A fuller review. Are you where we both expected? What's the plan for the next quarter?

For clinicians, the first 90 days include a caseload ramp. Nobody expects a full caseload on day one, and the comp model assumes a ramp period.

## Annual review

Once a year, on or near your anniversary, a written review covering:

* Clinical quality, including documentation timeliness and audit results
* Client feedback and outcomes of any complaints
* Reliability: attendance, availability accuracy, communication
* Contribution to the practice: the touchpoint, SOPs, helping others
* Your goals and what you want next
* Compensation, where a change is being considered

You'll get it in writing and have the chance to respond in writing.

## Who conducts them

Helen, for clinicians. The practice manager, for front-office and administrative roles. The practice manager coordinates scheduling and keeps the records.

## What reviews are not

* Not the only time you'll hear feedback. If something needs to change, you'll hear it when it's relevant, not months later.
* Not a promise of continued employment or a raise.
* Not a substitute for supervision, which is separate and clinical.

## Your review of us

Every review includes time for your feedback on the practice: what's working, what isn't, what you'd change. We mean it. This practice is still being built, and your opinion changes it.
